Goals & objectives are an important part to a meaningful life.  Goals are the big stuff & objectives are what you accomplish to reach the goals.  Example: Goal: You want to learn a foreign language.

Objectives:

• Obtain a foreign language dictionary.
• Join a conversational class.
• Enroll in an online or onground class.
• Learn to read books in a foreign language.
• Watch foreign films.
• Visit another country.
• Learn with a DVD on your computer.
